CASTIGLION FIORENTINO
This is the town I lived in. Castiglion Fiorentino is about 1 1/2 hours away from Florence and two hours away from Rome on the Rome-Florence train line. It is beautiful! Situated in Tuscany, there are beautiful rolling hills everywhere. Castiglion Fiorentino is also on a hill and the train station is at the bottom and the school, Santa Chiara, is almost at the top. It makes for a nice hike home after a weekend of traveling but the views from Santa Chiara are stunning!

At the train station with my sister, Brie.

My favorite smell in Italy was the jasmine, and it was everywhere!

The view from my window where I lived in Santa Chiara.

The dining area at Santa Chiara.

"The arches" in the town, a popular place to go and relax.

The "mini palio" in our town, a horse race between the neighborhoods (different sections of the town).

Me, Erin, and Jenny at the Velvet Underground, a popular bar in town.

The medieval festival held in the town.
